Solution:
The client was provided with a ready-to-use dataset for training liveness detection systems. The dataset consisted of small attacks (50-100 frames, up to 5 seconds) with videos of real people on 40 different indoor backgrounds with lighting ranging from dark to bright
Each performer’s recordings were accompanied by a set of attacks. These attacks varied, including printed and contour-cut images of a person on 40 backgrounds. These attacks aligned with the ISO/IEC 30107-3 requirements for testing liveness detection systems. Testing at level 1 imposed a cost limit of $30 for each attack. Therefore, the dataset included:
- Real videos of people
- Contour-printed selfies
- Volume-based selfies attached to a cylinder
- 2D masks with eye cutouts
- 3D cardboard masks of faces
- Demonstrations of people taking selfies with smartphones
- Demonstrations of people taking selfies with a PC screen
Outcomes:
The client trained the model on the dataset of 28,300 videos and successfully achieved iBeta Level 1 certification
